STAR TREK DEEP SPACE 9 STATION

 

This DS9 model is from the beloved Star Trek series Deep Space 9 which ran from 1993 to 1999 and had a total of seven seasons. This model was built using an original AMT 1/2500 scale model from 1994. To build this model so the lights would shine through just like the studio model, many alterations had to be made (one of which consisted of hand drilling over 300 holes to imitate windows). After all of the alterations the models looks just like the DS9 studio model did from the TV show. The model comes equipped with blinking navigation and docking lights, fully-lit fusion reactor and lit main docking ring lights. This models is a proud tribute to the model used in the TV show and would be a great addition to any Star Trek collection.
